Selecting Multiple Items in File Browsing Panes

Use the following methods to select multiple items in the file browsing panes on these MyLiveVault forms:

• Files to Backup tab on the Computer Backup form.

• Files to Restore tab on the Computer Restore form.

To select a directory

Select a directory to automatically select all its files:

1. Click the parent item, either the volume or parent directory, in the directory tree.

2. In the selection pane, select the box preceding the directory.

All the files in the directory are automatically selected.

To select multiple files or directories

1. Highlight the multiple files or directories:

   • To highlight multiple contiguous items:

     1. Click the first item you want to highlight.

     2. Press and hold the SHIFT key.

     3. Click the last item you want to highlight.

     4. These items and all items between these two are highlighted in the list.

   • To highlight multiple, non-contiguous items:

     1. Click the first item you want to highlight.

     2. Press and hold the CTRL key.

     3. Click each additional item you want to highlight.

2. Choose to include or exclude the highlighted files or directories:

   • To include the highlighted items, click .

   • To exclude the highlighted items, click .
