Microsoft Exchange Backup (for version 3.6 or earlier)
This topic applies to LiveVault Online Backup and Recovery Service Agent version 3.6 or earlier.

running Agent version 4.0 or later,

Purpose
Use this Microsoft Exchange Backup form to create a new Exchange Server backup configuration for
this computer. If you are running Exchange Server on
this computer, select the option for your Exchange version. A backup
configuration named Microsoft Exchange 2000 or Microsoft Exchange
5.5 will automatically be created. You will be prompted to specify the
Exchange files and directories to be backed up, as well as a schedule.
To help ensure that your Exchange data is appropriately
protected, LiveVault Online Backup and Recovery Service provides special management for this configuration.

| No Exchange Backup |
Select this option if you do not want to configure backup of
Exchange Server, for example, if Exchange Server is not running on
this computer.

| Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server |
Select this option to define a configuration that will back
up Exchange 2000/2003 Server for this computer.
When you click this option, you will be prompted to confirm your
selection. After confirmation, the Edit your Microsoft Exchange 2000 backup page opens so you can define the new configuration.

| Microsoft Exchange 5.5 Server |
Select this option to define a configuration that will back
up Exchange 5.5 Server for this computer.
When you click this option, you will be prompted to confirm your
selection. After confirmation, the Edit your Microsoft Exchange 5.5
backup page opens so you can define the new configuration.

Click to skip defining an Exchange backup
configuration, and open the Databases Backup page so you can
define backup configurations for your other databases. This button only
applies if you select the No
Exchange Backup option. |

Click to end the initial backup configuration
session for this computer. An
Exchange backup configuration is not created. To further define backup, you must edit backup
for this computer. The All Computers form opens so you can see a summary of
the backup status of the computer.
